Rationalise, declutter and reorganise your space, to create a place that is inspiring and supports the life you want to live.

My passion is to get alongside people and help and support them to identify what they want from their living and working spaces, and then help them to create life enhancing places that they love and that work well for them.

What can I do for you?

Do you find there are areas in your home which just don’t ‘work’ for you? Badly organised? Cluttered? They just don’t ‘flow’, don’t support the way you want to live? Maybe it’s just one room. Maybe the whole house. These kind of spaces can add to our stress and frustration. And sometimes we can be too close to it, too attached to how things ‘have been’, to be able to see the way through to getting it sorted out.

This is when an independent professional perspective, and another pair of hands, can be so helpful. There tend to be certain points in life (usually times of transition of some sort or another) when action to change is really needed, and support particularly appreciated. Or it may just have been that way for a long time, draining your energy. You may be feeling swamped and overwhelmed. Or simply too busy with life as it is currently happening to address the issues. Then maybe I can help!

The ‘project’ is whatever you need it to be. We would identify together what that is and create a plan to tackle and solve it. I offer a free, no obligation, Zoom/FaceTime or phone conversation (up to 30 minutes) to start with, where we discuss your needs and requirements and how we might best work together. As each client and situation is unique, each project package will be different, based upon a fee of £35 per hour (£45 at weekends).

I am a member of APDO (Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers) and undertake to abide by their code of ethics. I also have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance, and am ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) registered.

I’m based in north Bristol and cover the Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire areas. Please feel free to get in touch with me and see if I can be of help to you.

About.

Hi, and thank you for visiting my web site! I’m Sue Woodhead-Marsh. Mother to two grown up sons who have now flown the nest, I’ve lived in north Bristol for the past 30 years. My work background has been in the public, education and not-for-profit sectors where I’ve undertaken a range of administrative and co-ordination roles over the past 30 years.

I have a degree in Home Economics and a continuing strong interest in the effect that environment (as well as other factors) has on health and well-being. Other qualifications include a Level 4 Introductory Diploma in Management (Chartered Management Institute) and a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Interior Design Skills (National Design Academy).

These different strands came together as I was looking to embark on a new venture after my sons had left home. I’ve always enjoyed making the spaces around me clean, clear and nurturing and have had a growing interest in minimalism, and slow, simple living over the past 15 years or so. So … following advice to ‘do what you love’, it seemed that this was the most obvious next step and I started practicing as a professional organiser in 2017. I did the APDO training course, “Starting Your Professional Organising Business” in 2018.

Alongside this role, I work part time as training coordinator for a small charity which offers counselling and counselling training in the Bristol area, and also as a volunteer mentor.
